I love Tumeric as Burmese. Burmese put Tumeric in everything from medicine to every meal-prep in cooking. So, I love Tumeric rice which smells and tastes so good. Tumeric has many health benefits for us too. This is my go-to way of making Tumeric Rice. If you don’t have rice cooker and like to cook rice in pot. Please see this recipe also.

If you fall in love with Tumeric rice and always want to cook it in easier and quick way, make this Garlic Oil and keep it staple at home. You can just add this with rice, salt and water to create as another quick-fix way.

Preparation to cook in Rice Cooker.
Wash Rice. And let me tell you my family traditional trick with cooking rice in rice cooker for water level. We would add water a bit. Then we dip index finger onto the rice. You just have to touch the rice level with tip of your finger. And check water is in same line with your first finger line. You can leave it on same line or a little above if you like it more soft.
